My Life Path

AKA the road to healing

  • Early Life

    I was homeschooled on a farm, isolated from basically everything (music, movies, etc.). My parents were extreme right wing Christians and I was harshly punished if I didn't believe exactly as they did. I learned early on that I was only loved by them if I lived up to their expectations (which was not who I was). They eventually refused to talk to me once I left home.

  • West Point and the Army

    I left home at 17, and was admitted to the US Military Academy at West Point. After graduation, I was commissioned as a Field Artillery officer and served for 3 more years in Fairbanks, Alaska (Fort Wainwright). My Army career ended early as I managed to freeze off a toe and half while snowshowing in the back country of Alaska.

  • Early Corporate life and Startups

    I joined the corporate world as a chemical salesman for a few years. I was getting everything I was told I should want (money, car, girlfriend, great apartment) but I was empty inside. I became a digital nomad in 2015 and started traveling to find myself. I eventually landed in Medellin, Colombia which I made my home.

  • The Medicine Path

    True healing started around 2020, when I tried Ayahuasca for the first time. I set me on a completely different path. I began meditating, working with various medicines, and truly healing for the first time in my life. This path has led me to family and community beyond anything I've ever imagined, and I feel truly happy and fulfilled.
